Taking the Plunge!

Hi Friends!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I wanted to tell you a little bit about myself! So, Hi!!! I’m Laura and I am so glad you are here!

I started dabbling in acting and modeling in the Boston area 20 plus years ago. I took time off when I had kids, but found I missed it and went back. It was more something I did as a creative outlet. I have always worked for my family business, so acting and modeling was just something I did on the side.

One of my print jobs turned into a blogging gig, back when blogging was a new concept! I worked for a Mall and posted about all the latest fashion and deals out there. Something that was only supposed to last a few months ended up lasting a couple of years. I always thought I would start my own blog, but ended up putting it off and never doing it. Well, fast forward… I finally joined Instagram and it took me a while to understand it. I started following bloggers and became addicted!

On top of that, I have 2 nieces in their 20’s who kept telling me, Auntie Laura, you should become a blogger! Well, that was Christmas 2018. By the summer of 2019, I started to take this more seriously. I was like, I can do this. I WANT to do this. By September, I got accepted into the Liketoknow.it app and everything instantly changed. I was ready, but I wasn’t ready. But that is always the best way! Just say yes and keep moving and figure it out as you go! It’s true because if you keep waiting for everything to be perfect, you end up not doing it! So, here I am… a very real person who is just figuring it out as I go!

I absolutely love a good sale and I hate to pay for shipping. I am a shopping addict who is basically sharing my passion with you! Sometimes you may see a deal you can’t pass up… other times it just won’t be for you! But either way, I hope you come along for the ride and get a good deal every now and again!
